A Heart Full of Diamonds	Once she saw the diamonds, she was out of options. A wig, a change of clothes, and nerves of steel freed Marilee from her diamond-stealing husband, but Tony has too many friends in too many places for her to trust anyone. A thousand miles away, she's fashioned a new life in a safe haven. Her brawny neighbor Richard and his engaging son Derreck would do anything to help her, but she keeps her past a secret until two of Tony's goons kidnap her in broad daylight. *The race is on, and Marilee's life hangs in the balance.*
Where Marilee Disappeared	When Anne made a New Year's resolution to submit something before the end of the year, she didn't have anything in mind. She saw an announcement for the Audiobook Club's Second Annual Short Story Contest, and asked Marie if she had something short that could be used. Marie handed over half-a-dozen pages of manuscript, and didn't think any more about it. By June, Anne had fleshed the story out, and was ready for Marie to start edits. One month before the contest deadline, Marie showed the manuscript to a friend of hers who worked for the FBI. When he finished laughing, he explained where they had gone wrong. The entire story was ripped apart and rewritten, and turned in just under the wire. It won. First prize: a contract to publish.	Gully where Marilee was kidnapped.
